PaycheckRadar is built around a simple idea: make take-home pay easy to understand without hiding the assumptions behind a black box.
Depth before blanket coverage
The launch version covers federal withholding, nine priority states, New York City resident withholding and a focused group of salary tools. New jurisdictions are added only after their rules and primary sources are implemented.
What makes the project different
We favor official-source methods, local browser calculation, visible limitations and regression tests over giant forms and unexplained numbers.
