To convert hourly pay to annual salary, multiply the hourly rate by hours worked per week and the number of paid workweeks in the year.
Hourly to annual salary formula
Hourly rate × weekly hours × workweeks per year = annual gross pay. A common full-time estimate uses 40 hours per week and 52 weeks.

Account for unpaid time off
If you do not work or get paid for all 52 weeks, use the number of paid workweeks you realistically expect. An hourly worker taking unpaid leave can earn less than a simple 52-week annualization suggests.
Overtime changes annual income
Regular overtime can materially increase gross annual pay. The simple hourly-to-salary formula should not treat overtime hours at the regular hourly rate if those hours are paid at a higher multiplier.
